Our doctors are highly trained and enthusiastic physicians that focus on promoting excellence in delivering primary health care for patients as well as providing many services to promote patient’s health and wellbeing.

Dr Faisal Siddiqui

Dr Siddiqui is one of the Doctors&Co. highly qualified and experienced medical professionals, currently exercising his wide range of skills at our Cranbourne West Medical Centre.

Growing up in West Africa and working there as well as in Asia and the United Kingdom, Dr Siddiqui completed his General Specialisation at the General College of Royal Practitioners in the UK, as well as a Masters in Public Health. He worked for the UK National Institute of Health and Care Institute and published four clinical guidelines.

Now settled in Australia with his family, Dr Siddiqui is a valued member of the Doctors&Co. team. With skills and experience in many aspects of general practice, he has a particular interest in diabetes, paediatrics, psychiatry, and sexual and reproductive health (including contraception and implants).

Dr Siddiqui is also experienced with WorkCover, Transport Accident Commission and Centrelink claims, and can assist patients with the burden of paperwork. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Practitioners, and holds the role of Examiner.

Examiners are critical in the assessment of GPs in Australia, and they represent excellence in general practice. This role also ensures that Dr Siddiqui is at the cutting edge of current and best practice medical knowledge.

Dr Siddiqui’s experience dealing with patients from different countries and backgrounds makes him an exceptional, understanding and compassionate general practitioner. When not devoting time to caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his young family.

As well as quality family time he enjoys sports such as cricket and badminton, and despite being happily settled in Australia a part of his heart remains in the UK with his favourite football club Manchester United!

Dr Fariha Irshad

Dr Fariha Irshad – FRACGP and DRANZCOG Adv GP Obstetrics/Gynae expertise and special interests in Women’s Health accredited by Monash Health and Peninsula Health for shared care and she speaks three different languages besides English.

She has a particular interest in women’s health sexual health, General Family Medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology, and aesthetic fillers and anti-wrinkle treatment.

Dr Fariha Irshad’s qualifications are as follows:

  • Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners

Dr Dipankar Chakraborty

Dr Chakraborty is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), affirming his status as a provider of high quality, safe and competent general practice services.
Completing additional education and training in skin cancer management and attained professional and advanced certificates in skin cancer medicine and complex skin cancer surgery. He provides comprehensive skin assessments which includes diagnosis, biopsy and excisions with experience in flaps and grafts. He also treats patients with various other skin ailments.

Dr Chakraborty is the lead skin doctor at Aurora Skin Clinic in Wangaratta and offers rural skin cancer treatments throughout Victoria and teaches registrars/students on skin cancer medicine and surgery.

Dr Chakraborty is dedicated to skin cancer management and strongly feels that no patient should ever die of skin cancer.

Dr Yasmin Kazi

Dr Kazi obtained her GP Fellowship from the Royal College of General Practices (FRACGP) in 2020, obtained a Diploma in Child Heath (DCH) at Sydney University, 2018 and obtained her Diploma in Community Welfare services, 2010.

Dr Kazi has lived in Australia the past 14 years and recently moved from Mildura where she practiced as a GP for 7 and a 1/2 years.

Dr Kazi is very family orientated, mother of three beautiful daughters and loves spending time with family. Dr Kazi’s hobbies include music, travelling, reading, designing, cooking different culinary cuisines.

Dr Khawaja Bilal Akbar is an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner with an extensive international medical background spanning over 20 years.

He began his career in Pakistan, working at prestigious institutions including the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital & Research Centre. He then spent over a decade in New Zealand, initially as a Surgical Registrar and later transitioning to General Practice, where he developed a strong foundation in both procedural and holistic care. Since 2019, Dr Akbar has been practicing in Australia, providing comprehensive general practice services to individuals and families.

Dr Akbar has a special interest in minor surgical procedures, including skin cancer surgery, cyst and lesion excisions, biopsies, and foreign body removal. He is also passionate about mental health support, weight loss management, geriatric care, and iron infusion therapy.

His diverse experience and caring approach make him a trusted choice for patients seeking high-quality, personalised medical care.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Akbar enjoys playing squash and cricket, gardening, and working on DIY projects.

Dr. Saad Bilal Ahmad is a dedicated GP registrar with a diverse clinical background spanning emergency medicine, surgery, and intensive care. A graduate of King’s College London (MBBS, 2017), he is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Emergency Medicine while working at a senior level in the field. His previous experience includes extensive work in general surgery, ENT, vascular surgery, orthopedics, urology, and ICU care.

Dr. Ahmad has a particular interest and growing expertise in skin cancer medicine. His professional journey is marked by national recognition for Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) in the UK and international publications in vascular surgery. He brings a dynamic and proactive approach to patient care, with a passion for continuous self improvement and clinical excellence.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys football (soccer), going to the gym, travelling, and musical theatre. He also has a newfound hobby in cooking steaks and is always on the lookout for ways to master the perfect sear.

Andrew Argyropoulos is a GP Registrar with a strong foundation in emergency medicine, urgent care and surgery across Victoria, NSW and Queensland. With experience as an Emergency CMO, Urgent Care MO, ED Registrar and General Surgery Registrar, he is skilled in managing undifferentiated presentations, performing procedures and working confidently in fast-paced clinical settings.

Andrew completed a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery at the University of Queensland and a Master of Philosophy in Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne, contributing to several peer-reviewed publications. His academic path, including prior studies in neuroscience, reflects a deep commitment to evidence-based practice and the science underpinning clinical care.

Known for his calm, approachable manner, Andrew brings strong procedural skills, clear communication under pressure and sound clinical judgement. He values patient-centred, compassionate care and ongoing professional development. His accomplishments include multiple neuroscience publications, ALS2 certification, neonatal skills training, robotic surgery accreditation and senior roles within emergency and surgical departments.

Outside of medicine, Andrew enjoys staying active, travelling, the outdoors, good food and coffee—and preparing for life as a new dad alongside a soon-to-arrive golden retriever. A fun fact: his wedding was a vibrant traditional Thai celebration in Bangkok, complete with a memorable family dance-off.

Dr Fahad Al Islam is a GP Registrar who brings together extensive hospital experience and a genuine passion for patient-centred care. Before focusing on general practice, he worked across leading Australian hospitals — including Prince of Wales Hospital, Peninsula Health, and Dubbo Base Hospital — where he developed strong clinical foundations in general surgery, emergency medicine, anaesthetics and intensive care.

At Peninsula Health, Dr Islam worked extensively in the Breast and Endocrine Surgery Unit, gaining valuable experience in the care of patients with breast cancer and other endocrine conditions. This has shaped his holistic approach to women’s health and preventive care.

Dr Islam’s diverse background enables him to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. His clinical interests include family medicine, women’s health, men’s health, skin checks, chronic disease management, preventive health, and minor surgical procedures such as excisions and complex wound care. Known for his calm and methodical approach, he values listening carefully, explaining clearly, and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.

A postgraduate from the University of Sydney, Dr Islam holds a Master of Surgery and has contributed research to the ANZ Journal of Surgery. His research work has been recognised internationally, earning Best Presentation Awards at medical conferences in the United Kingdom. He was also a tutor with Monash University, teaching medical students and helping them grow into confident, compassionate doctors.

During his early postgraduate years, Dr Islam worked as a news presenter on national television — experience that refined his communication skills and natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Patients often describe him as approachable, articulate and genuinely invested in their wellbeing.

Inspired by his father, a rural GP who has served his community for more than four decades, Dr Islam carries forward a tradition of dedication, empathy and integrity. He believes good medicine begins with understanding the person behind every diagnosis and building long-term relationships based on trust and respect.

Outside of medicine, Dr Islam enjoys travelling, singing, playing guitar, and photography. He is passionate about slow-cooking and smoking meat, an art he is continually perfecting, and he enjoys playing and following cricket. He speaks English, Bengali and Hindi.

With nearly 13 years of experience in the health industry, Tenille Furborough brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her role as Practice Manager. She began her career as a medical receptionist, quickly advancing through roles including Senior Receptionist, Team Leader, Area Manager, and now Practice Manager.

Tenille has spent most of her career in General Practice, with additional experience in an Urgent Care Centre, giving her a comprehensive understanding of patient care, practice operations, and team management. She is passionate about mentoring and training staff, helping them grow in confidence and reach their full potential to deliver exceptional patient care.

Nader Attia, a Podiatrist at Botanic Ridge Doctors.

Nader studied at La Trobe University in Melbourne where he obtained a Bachelor degree in Health Sciences and a Masters of Podiatric practice in 2014. Since then Nader has developed a passion for the management of sports related injuries in athletes and active people as well as treating patients suffering with Diabetes. In his time working as a podiatrist Nader established himself as a podiatry mentor, assisting and training new graduate podiatrists in their first year of podiatric practice. He looks to the ever-evolving field of sports podiatry and is able to construct biomechanical treatment plans for his patients.

In his spare time you will find Nader doing small projects around the house and spending time with his wife and son. He’s an avid soccer fan and enjoys learning new things.

Agnes Chow, a Dietitian at Botanic Ridge Doctors.

Agnes is passionate about motivating others to find their best selves and live a healthier and happier life. Believing in the joy of food, she is client-focused and dedicated to providing customised nutritional plans to suit different individual needs while helping others to build a good relationship with food.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Science majoring in Nutrition at The University of Auckland, New Zealand and a Master’s degree in Dietetics at Monash University, she gained interest and experience in areas such as weight management, diabetes management (type 1, type 2, gestational diabetes), cardiovascular disease management (cholesterol, blood pressure management), gastrointestinal conditions (IBS, coeliac disease, food intolerance), women’s health, fertility, pregnancy and breastfeeding, Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and more.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Agnes is multilingual and fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. While providing nutritional advice is her primary job function by day, Agnes is a foodie and enjoys cooking and trying out different recipes and cuisines from other parts of the world.

She also has an interest in treating Womens health problems (pre and post pregnancy).She has gained experience working across the private and public health settings in Victoria over the last 8 years.

In her spare time she enjoys traveling, playing badminton, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Nital has 13+ years experience working as a physiotherapist.

He graduated in 2010 from Maharashtra University of Health Science, India.

He has special interest in lower limb injury management and spinal rehabilitation.He believes that return to sports performance is as substantial as return to play.

He also believes in injury prevention through establishment of evidence based injury prevention strategies and mitigating risk factors in young and masters athletes.

He has an interest in managing growth related injuries in school going kids who play sports multiple times in a week.He effectively manages acute injuries of weekend warriors.

For the geriatric population, his approach of treatment for ongoing pain is not only focusing on reduction of pain but also improving functionality through tasks oriented exercises.
